Project: The Greater New Orleans Foundation seeks to create a resilient, sustainable, vibrant community in which individuals and families flourish and the special character of our region is preserved, celebrated, and supported.

We have partnered with GNOF to help lead a series of workshops. These workshops will provide interactive training and coaching in program evaluation for area nonprofits, led by a team of local experts in nonprofit program evaluation. This series will follow the model established for an ongoing financial leadership workshop series supported by the Greater New Orleans Foundation Organizational Effectiveness unit (GNOF-OE), providing individualized coaching and “homework” activities between workshops to support reflective practice and internalization of evaluation practices within participating organizations.

In addition to the primary facilitators, representatives of at least one nonprofit that has undertaken evaluation will share their experience with attendees. The Workshop will be highly interactive, including time built-in for networking, group discussion, Q&A, and reflection, as well as completion of an Evaluation Capacity Survey.
