Data-Driven Research on Recidivism in Orleans Parish

Project: Court Watch NOLA promotes reform in the criminal legal system through civic engagement and courtroom observation. Using a dataset containing a census record of arrests and charges in Orleans Parish over the past decade, Flux is working with Court Watch NOLA to paint a bird’s eye view of recidivism. The project will establish research questions, perform statistical analyses and create data visualizations to feed into a series of dissemination materials.
